As a writer, my dream is to capture your imagination and never let it go. My debut trilogy is the culmination of that dream: The Splitting of Lucinda Howe, which follows a thirteen-year-old girl split in two by a portal accident. It's a story about identity, belonging, and what it costs to become whole.
Through this story, I have reveled in creating worlds that are bigger than they first appear, where science, magic, fantasy and the real world intertwine. And yes, there are creatures, familiar and new, and a soul-matched dog. More than one, actually.
